This included Dr. Wen-Ho Lee. Lily always stood ready to lend her voice to policies, causes and movements that benefited the public good.

Lily was appointed to the Board of Governors of this esteemed body created by Congress and signed into law by Dwight Eisenhower in 1960, with its mission being to strengthen the relations and understanding among the peoples and nations of Asia, the Pacific and the USA.
